Our customer is a hockey fanatic. He grew up playing hockey and as an adult regularly participated in a hockey league. He was disappointed that Norfolk didn't have a hockey rink so that the local kids could enjoy hockey as he had growing up. He decided to put up a hockey rink in his backyard and invited local kids to come and learn to play. When summertime rolled around, he drained it, and they came and practiced on rollerblades. Leaves in the summer and fall had to be regularly cleaned up to keep the surface smooth. In the winter he was constantly scooping away the snow. That's when our customer decided to invest in a building to go over the rink. The building provides shade and cover from tree debris in the summer and fall. When the cold Nebraska winter sets in, it keeps the snow off and blocks the wind. His investment allows for year round use which is enjoyed by a great many people!
